Canon EF 70-300 IS USM vs EF-S 55-250 IS STM. Counterlight and Contrast Test

In conclusion, comparing telephoto lenses, I want to give the results of test images for contrast and resistance to counterlight. As you can see, even with the aperture open, the "plastic" EF-S 55-250 shows excellent results.

EF-S 55-250 (250mm, f/5.6, 1/1250 ISO125).

EF-S55-250mm (250mm, f/8, 1/1250 ISO200).

EF 70-300mm (220mm, f/8, 1/2000 ISO320). I did not post EF 70-300 220mm f/ 5.6, because at such a focal length the result is terrible.

EF-S 55-250mm (55mm, f/4, 1/2000 ISO100).

EF 70-300mm (70mm, f/4, 1/2000 ISO125).

EF-S55-250mm (55mm, f/8, 1/1250 ISO250).

EF 70-300mm (70mm, f/8, 1/2000 ISO400).

Despite this, I was unable to completely replace the more expensive and heavier 70-300. Firstly, because I use both a crop and a full-frame camera on trips, and secondly, the 55-250 has a slow focus and is poorly suited for shooting dynamic scenes. That's why I'm taking both lenses on a trip.
